The Faces Behind Point & Frame

Meet Brittany

Artist - Taxidermist - Owner

What started as a way to commemorate every hunt for my husband has turned into a medium of art that I am truly fascinated with. What began as a personal way to preserve the memories of those hunts quickly grew into a creative process that allows me to combine my love of art with the tradition of taxidermy.

I consider myself an artist first and a taxidermist second. My background in art and design influences every mount I create, from the way feathers are arranged to the balance and composition of the final piece. Each feather is carefully placed to highlight the natural patterns, color, and movement of the bird while creating a clean and intentional design.

Flat feather mounts offer a unique way to preserve a bird while turning it into a framed display that can live comfortably within your home. Unlike traditional taxidermy mounts, feather mounts are designed to blend into a variety of interior spaces, allowing your harvest to become part of the overall design of a room rather than something that feels separate from it.

For me, every mount is both a preservation of the bird and a piece of artwork. My goal is to create something that honors the bird, respects the hunt, and becomes something you’re proud to display for years to come.

Meet Boone

Mascot - Super Chewer- Goodest Boy

Boone can be found in the studio inspecting ducks almost every day. When he’s not working, he’s usually snuggling his favorite humans or watching out the window for birds.

He loves a good tennis ball, which is the only thing he’ll retrieve since he absolutely hates water. Luckily, Boone is now teaching the newest member of the family, Hank, how to dog. Let’s just hope Hank doesn’t pick up Boone’s strong distaste for water.
